A look back at Railfair 99

These were taken when the 844 had a flue problem and puked oil over a bunch of us who were trackside at the moment. It also covered the Amtrak display with dripping oil. Ruined a brand new white shirt and worth every bit of it. I had a ball and was there for the whole week.

Interesting that 2011 was the 30th anniversary of the opening of CSRM and (as far as I can tell), there was no commemoration of any kind. I realize there's no money for anything of a Railfair nature, but one would think they might have had some sort of observance.
