It appears these GP units are headed to LTEX, in Chicago. These are patched from Santa Fe to LTEX.

Actually there are 26 engines, 4 under power and 22 are not.

If there's more locos then I have fingers and toes...hell no I can't count them. LOL

These look like the ones that were stored in the BNSF Barstow Yard. Looks like there is a fair number of GP30's and it appears to these tired eyes...some CF7's. Perhaps toward the last of the consist. There again! Yes...ahh...err...no? Guessing... these are headed for the torch.

Saying good bye, to the last of some die hard soldiers. Hate to see them go.

Cool shooting out on the Needles Sub. That light power move was a cool suprise. The symbol someone gave me for it is D-BARCSX1-09. I was out there too Saturday and saw this train go through Klinefelter just after sunset (wish I knew about it as I would have set up a little west of there). As I recall all of power being moved was GP30s and GP35s (at least in carbody, maybe they had newer guts). Thanks for sharing the photos, and I'll try to get some of mine up here in sometime soon.

Take care,

What? You guys can't cut old Barstow Rick in on the action? Nothing like a bunch of desert rats crawling all over the desert floor to get a good shot of a pumpkin. Oh, we are good it's not likely I'd be able to manage getting off this large lump of granite. Just take pictures and post them here. It'd be almost the same as going with you.

Rooms 1 and 10. The distance is to negate the snoring of a particular person!

SD75,

You got me rollling on the floor here.......I think its not a night cap. I think its his helmet so he dont bump his head when he snores, ( HA HA HA HA HA HA )

Naw, the helmet he wears when he's shooting trains so if his balance falters he can just bounce off the plows on engines.

Sigh! What's a big brother to do?

Mom they're at it again. Do you want me to whip them back in shape? As if I could...not anymore.

LOL
