A trip to Bagdad and a surprise visitor. (Barstow Rick)

Well, a couple of weeks ago old "Wide Load Harold" (SD75MAC) and I took a little trip out to the Needles Sub for some recreational photo shooting. We started out at Siberia for some early morning shots and then out to Bagdad for the first part of the day. While searching out some new angles we ran into the Spookster (Barstow Rick) cruising around in his new ride. Well, damned if he didn't have a passenger and it turned out to be Big BNSF. Poor old BIG was having a fit cuz Spooky Rick didn't turn on the air conditioner. Now, ya gotta understand that Big complains, whines, bitches, and cries about everything so the Spookster just ignored him and continued on with his travels. Seems that he just heard about the old Bagdad Cemetery and was looking for some new turf to work on. Last we saw, the Spookster was headed eastbound with Big still screaming.

Spooky Rick's new ride and guess who's screaming to get out?

HawHawHaw and still belly laughing over the last shot.

Hawhawhaw...to funny Don, just to funny. Great Pics...love the last one. LOLOLOL My kind of ride.

Yep, I didn't know we were in the same neighborhood or I'd of stopped to size you up. Ahh..err... for the perfect fitting casket...of course.

Big, always the one to try something new, had heard about my sleep overs and wanted to try it out. Darn dry ice melted off and he was about to roast himself alive. Not recommended, incidentally. We prefer to cremate after the kicking and screaming stops. LOLOLOL

Darn vultures must of given old Big and I away. Can't ditch them little fellers. Those rascally Crows and Coyotes will follow along side the hearse waiting for something to fall out of the back and I really think that's what Big, was yelling about. Easy on the take off's Rick, I could hear him screaming.

Well, I made it to the cemetery and there didn't appear to be any action ... in a long time. Most of the ghosts were reluctant to come out in the day...something about hell being hot enough...already. I thought one of the former... TV Evangelist put in air conditioning and water coolers down there. Must be bad information. Not sounding good.

Now hold on a minute, we were in Siberia...right? Then what the h.e.l.l. is up with the heat? It's supposed to be cold there...col.

Wait till you hear what I dug up with regard to the Pilgrims and the First Thanksgiving. It's not what you've been taught in school. Heeheehee

Well, believe it or not, I shot that photo out at the Calico Ghost Town east of Barstow about 55 years ago. Thought it was quite fitting for this post. Ya never know what I may come up with.

My last visit to Calico, I didn't see it. They must of had it in a barn all covered up. Perhaps afraid, I'd steal it. LOL

Funny, but I worked for a fella that had a white one parked out front of his mortuary. Come on in we will clip-clop you all the way to the cemetery. Nope no such fun he had an old ugly, gray Cadillac hearse he'd rather drive.

We been ba-aa-aa-d boys.

Yeah Big, well what you started you better be prepared to finish. Coming off as the campus...ahh..err..farmers clown and don't expect us to join in. Still, (and not the one in your back yard). I thought for a second I was going to get that last laugh...with you. You started to worry me.

After Don left, hearing you holler as you woke up from the night after. Seeing you hold your head like there was something terribly wrong with it. You.....wondering where the stinch came from. Now, I'ma going to have to send that casket back to be cleaned and a new interior installed. Can't sell it, the way it is. Your costing me bud and that's turning out to be an expensive ride. Wait till you get the bill...cha-ching!

You should have seen yourself as you climbed out of that metal flat top. Clown? Naw, that was neausating...even for me. And I've seen a lot of F!^& $#!+...nothing funny about that.

Remember: The Pilgrims grave report. I finally dug up some Puritans for tomorrow's occasion. Interesting, it wasn't the Pilgrims that celebrated the first harvest festival that later became Thanksgiving. Vikings and English Fisherman knew the waters off the east coast, very well. Columbus was a late comer as far as being the first European to arrive here. Never mind the natives the early ones, hired as fisherman and learned to speak perfect English. To think they still call my native side of the family Indian's. Hell, we didn't come nor did our ancestors come from India. Well, not that we know of. Grin!

Put that in your peace pipe and smoke it.

Have A Good Thanksgiving.

Remember, what you eat you are...heeheehee.

You ain't careful I'ma going to run all those sheep through your Pistachio orchard.
